Illustrated Interpretations of Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis
This collection of works is in response to an assignment for ART 151 Two Dimensional Design. The students were given a chapter from CS Lewis’ Screwtape Letters (1942.) Each student was asked to read the provided text and create a visual image representing the themes, images, or morals within the text. They then created a reductive relief print by carving the designed imagery into WonderCut, and then printing the image onto paper. Each student created a 3 print edition of the image. Each student has written a summary or selected a portion of the text to accompany the provided images.
