Abstract

Chapel opens with a reading from James 2:14-26, emphasizing the relationship between faith and works, arguing that faith without action is ineffective and dead. Through examples of Abraham and Rahab, the reader illustrates that true faith is validated by works, as genuine belief compels individuals to act. Following this scripture reading, David Neil shares his journey and experiences in ministry, highlighting the importance of hospitality and community engagement. He encourages students to actively participate in chapel services and reflects on moments of humility in his life, linking them back to the themes of faith and authentic living presented in James. The chapel concludes with an invitation for students to share their experiences of seeing Christ at work in their lives.
