Abstract
This talk will discuss groups and Lie algebras: their structure, properties, and some fundamental theorems that have been proven by well-known mathematicians. Mathematicians and physicists use these algebras to describe and research a wide variety of phenomena, from quantum mechanics to more complex algebraic structures. This also led to a new area of research: Leibniz algebras.
