Consistent Community

I had found it difficult to adapt to and accept all the changes happening around campus, however, my perspective changed after seeing a drawn map of campus with proposed future buildings in a Taylor Bulletin from 1958. Today’s campus varies drastically from what was perceived in the past, giving me some peace that even if students in the future experience a different Taylor than the one I recognize, it will still be the same at its core because of the people who are a part of this community. In my print I have layered this 1958 map and a hodgepodge of buildings and sections of our current campus arranged semi-accurately and abstractly layered over one another with specific choices in color and line work to create a bright, positive association for Taylor’s “vibrant” future.
