ART 151: 2-D Design and Creative Writing Collaboration – Fall 2024

Students in 2D Design and English Department students teamed up for a collaborative project in Fall 2024. Artists in Professor Hannah Richardson’s class (ART 151) were randomly given a draft of student short stories and poems from Professor Dan Bowman's classes (ENG 410 & ENG 211).

2D Design students then created a visual response to a few lines, a section, or the entirety of the story. The artwork that you see in this collection are relief prints. Relief printmaking is a process of creating an image by cutting away parts of a block so that all that is left is the design to be printed.

Printing is not supported at the primary Gallery Thumbnail page. Please first navigate to a specific Image before printing.
