Abstract
With respect to Jesus’s miracle described in Matthew 14: 15–21, we give whimsical arguments for generating more from what appears to be present—using ideas of set and measure theory and show how to partition the unit interval into two disjoint sets each of whose outer measures is unity; and we go on to discuss the Banach-Tarski paradox showing how to partition the unit sphere into two unit spheres.
