Abstract

Ezekiel 34:11-24 falls in the midst of passages concerning judgment and a future hope for Israel. This paper examines the themes of relationship and faithfulness as they are presented through the motif of God as the shepherd of his people. Furthermore, it examines the significance of the passage within the context of the broader Biblical canon, concluding with a brief examination of both historical and contemporary applications.
