Abstract
This piece was written to answer the question 'If we never had to feel bad emotions, would we take that opportunity?' I wanted to explore how all of our emotions contribute to our way of being and are necessary to develop us as people. I hope to flesh out this work into a longer piece of fiction someday, but right now it is a short story.
