Taylor University’s Orphans & Vulnerable Children major (OVC) equips students in best practices designed to serve vulnerable children in global and local contexts by meeting emotional, physical, and spiritual needs. The OVC major incorporates classes from Public Health, Missions, Education, Social Work, Psychology, and Anthropology. Students study current trends in orphan/child care and interventions, fundraising, non-profit management, and health—all of which will be complemented by significant practical experience through two internships, one local or national and one international.
