Department Chair: Dr. Deborah Stiles

The Sociology program is home to students interested in studying the behavior of individuals within societal systems and understanding the roles of family, work, and government in our communities and lives.

As a Sociology student, you will cultivate your intellectual curiosity, develop your research skills, and experience learning beyond the traditional classroom setting through our planned trips to correctional facilities, homeless shelters, and refugee centers. By asking challenging questions about the world around you, you will cultivate a heart for social and biblical justice and a curiosity for complex social issues.
