Editors' Notes

Dear Readers:

We are pleased to share with you the twenty-fifth edition of Growth: The Journal of the Association for Christians in Student Development. For twenty-five years, Growth has strived to provide readers with relevant original research and pertinent professional development to aid in our work with college students. As always, we trust that you will find the articles and book reviews in this current issue to be helpful in informing your work as educators.

This year, you will encounter feature articles addressing a myriad of topics, including matters of belonging, sin and the conduct process, as well as spiritual loneliness, wellbeing, and friendship. In addition to these articles is a review of a recent book. We hope these articles and review introduce you to some new ideas that can guide and shape your work.

We are grateful to those who work to make Growth possible, including Julia VanderMolen, who serves in the role of Book Review Editor. We would also like to thank our Associate Editor, Pacey Ham Mitchell, who after two years of serving with the edirotial team, has decided to step away following this year. Her efforts have helped us produce quality volumes the past two years. Pacey and Julia, along with our peer review team, have put forth great effort to produce a volume that represents relevant scholarship that is diverse in its coverage of topics.

As we look forward, we particularly want to encourage you to consider submitting manuscripts for future issues of Growth; the next edition will be published in the spring of 2027. In-depth publication guidelines are included on the Association for Christians in Student Development website. We are especially interested in manuscripts presenting original research and encourage anyone who has recently completed a graduate thesis or dissertation to submit an article.

The scholarship team would like to thank you for your support of Growth: The Journal of the Association for Christians in Student Development. We hope you find it to be an engaging and insightful resource.

Sincerely,
Dr. Skip Trudeau, Co-Editor
Dr. Austin Smith, Co-Editor
