Abstract
Dara Berkhalter speaks on grief of death and life transitions.
Dara (Johnson ’02, MBA ’08) Berkhalter has served as Taylor University’s Executive Director of Alumni Relations since June 2014. She returns to Taylor following extensive urban service-most recently as Senior Director of Operations with By The Hand Club For Kids, a Christian after-school program in Chicago that serves 900 students. Dara is excited to help make a difference in the lives of alumni through developing a robust alumni program that is holistic and creates a culture of community that reaches beyond campus walls. Dara and her husband, Jason Berkhalter ’97, live in Fort Wayne where they enjoy being engaged members in their church community, staying active, and finding great new places to eat.
