Notes
Fueled by a relentless passion for children and justice, April Jurgensen is the founder and executive director of The Boaz Project, Inc., a non-profit organization that inspires and equips leaders around the globe to care for orphans in their own communities. For more than 20 years, she has impacted vulnerable children by addressing their physical, spiritual and educational needs.
Between trips to visit the children who’ve stolen her heart, April seizes opportunities to write and speak about them. She brings the experience and insight from more than 100 international trips to her messages. She is the author of the award-winning book The Orphan’s Abba: Stories from Orphan Care That Reveal God’s Love for You.
April holds a B.A. in writing from Taylor University in Upland, IN. In addition to loving her occupation, she is crazy about her husband, Jim, and their two adult children. When they aren’t globetrotting, the Jurgensens call Greenwood, IN home.
