Abstract

Most churches today do not address the needs of emerging adults in any way outside of occasional social gatherings. This has led to a mass exodus of emerging adults from the Church and presents a need for intentional spiritual formation, mentors, and programming for this demographic. This paper outlines a philosophy and strategy for the spiritual formation of emerging adults in the local church through mentoring.
