Abstract
In this experiment we determined looked at whether Gliotactin is required for normal MRLC apicalization with the wings of Drosophila Melanogaster. We looked at loss of function Gliotactin mutants as well as RNAi pupae. The results of the experiment suggest that MRLC is dependent upon Gliotactin for proper apicalization, as well as MRLC being the link between Gliotactin and the base of the actin-hairs within the wing.
