Faculty-Mentored Undergraduates Scholarship (FMUS) is a collaborative summer mentoring program during which faculty mentor students in scholarly work, expanding the call to teach beyond the classroom and into the discipline-specific methods of scholarship. Working together, students and faculty who participate in this apprenticeship model have impacted student learning, faculty scholarship, and made significant contributions to a wide variety of disciplines since 2015, including English, Political Science, Anthropology, Biblical Studies, Music, Psychology, Film & Media, Biology, Kinesiology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Science, and Sustainable Development.
