Abstract
Pediatric obesity has reached epidemic levels around the globe with an estimated 340 million children and adolescents being diagnosed with obesity. Given the dearth of healthcare in rural areas such as northeast IN, the pediatric weight management program, Live Well, was started in 2020. This health coaching program included 3 participants who were instructed on health lifestyle habits in the areas of nutrition, sleep, sedentary behavior, and physical activity. The participants' weight slightly increased during the 3-month period of the study, but other positive behaviors were reported included reduced fast food consumption and screen time as well as increased physical activity.
