Aims & Scope

Who is eligible to submit?

Currently, Lux et Fides: A Journal for Undergraduate Christian Scholars is open to Taylor University undergraduate students. Students must have completed the work while enrolled at the university, though recent graduates are also eligible.

Submissions may have multiple student authors if all are at the undergraduate level. We discourage faculty co-authors as Lux et Fides: A Journal for Undergraduate Christian Scholars focuses solely on student research.

When does Lux et Fides: A Journal for Undergraduate Christian Scholars accept submissions?

Lux et Fides: A Journal for Undergraduate Christian Scholars accepts submissions on a rolling basis. Articles are released throughout the year with a compilation of the articles printed into an annual issue that is produced in May.

Faculty Sponsor

Students must have a faculty sponsor for their research to be able to submit to Lux et Fides: A Journal for Undergraduate Christian Scholars. The faculty sponsor must approve the submission before review begins.

What kind of submissions does Lux et Fides: A Journal for Undergraduate Christian Scholars

Lux et Fides: A Journal for Undergraduate Christian Scholars welcomes submissions of original research across all disciplines as well as reflections on research experiences. Creative works such as fiction, poetry, or artwork are not accepted.
