This collection includes digital copies of Taylor University's yearbook.
The first yearbook for Taylor University was published by the Senior Class of Taylor University in 1898 as The Gem. Yearbooks were published biennially from 1901-1921. A special yearbook-style publication called Cosmo was published in 1916 and was affiliated with the schools newspaper, The Echo, and issued by the Senior Classes.
A Taylor University yearbook has been published annually since 1921 with the exception of 1943 and 1944, when it was published as the Gem-Echo, a combination of the student newspaper and yearbook.
The yearbook was known as The Gem from 1898-1962 with the exception of 1905 when it was named Le Fleuron. In 1963, the name changed to Ilium, which is the current title.
